Data in the POS
Sales, products, customers, receipts, users, and business settings are stored in the customer's configured local database. Saleculator does not require cloud hosting for normal POS operation.
Privacy
Saleculator is an offline-first POS. Normal billing and shop data are stored on the customer's local machine or local network unless the customer chooses to share information for trial activation, licensing, support, payments, or updates.
Sales, products, customers, receipts, users, and business settings are stored in the customer's configured local database. Saleculator does not require cloud hosting for normal POS operation.
When a customer requests a trial or activates a license, Saleculator may process contact, business, machine, license, and activation details needed to issue and validate the trial or serial key.
When a customer purchases through a payment provider such as Razorpay or Stripe, payment information is processed by that provider. Saleculator may receive transaction reference, amount, currency, customer contact, invoice, license, and payment status details needed to complete the order.
Customers may choose to share support reports, screenshots, logs, or configuration details. Support files should mask passwords and should not include private license keys unless deliberately shared through an official support channel.
saleculator.com may receive standard server logs and lightweight page-event telemetry used to maintain downloads, release pages, and support paths.
Saleculator does not sell customer POS data. Information may be shared only with service providers needed for hosting, payments, trial/licensing, support, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or security.
Customer contact, licensing, payment reference, support, and legal records may be retained as needed for service delivery, accounting, dispute handling, compliance, and fraud prevention. Customers can request correction or deletion where legally permitted.
